Anne Hathaway's latest film, The Dark Knight Rises, continues to do well at the box office while reigning as the number one film for the weekend box office with cash register receipts reaching $36.4 million!

According to E! News, Colin Farrell's Total Recall opened in second place at $26 million. Not too shabby, right? Well, considering it's a reboot, it had a huge budget (per various reports it ranged between $125 million to $200 million!). Box office analyst Jeff Bock told the site, "…It's definitely a misfire."

The kid flick, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, had a strong debut of $14.7 in third place. As for another strong opening? The adorable Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg movie, Celeste and Jesse Forever. Though it opened in limited release in only four theaters, it raked in $112,061. 

Mark Wahlberg's Ted continues to hold its own and has grossed over $200 million at the box office here in the states! It ranked sixth this weekend.
