Demi Lovato made the decision to enter treatment this week and it sounds like it’s helping. According to E! News sources, Demi is “on her way to getting better.”
What she’s trying to get better from is still unknown, but according to E! News sources Demi is focused on her recovery.
“Demi is not receiving care at one of the Hollywood-type centers,” a source close to the family explained. “She is at a real facility that specializes in helping adolescent and adult women with the types of issues she has battled throughout her life. Details about her care are going to remain private.”
And another source says Demi’s future departure from rehab, “It depends on the doctor’s advice and how well Demi progresses.”
But if you ask Demi’s friend and music collaborator, Travis Clarke of We The Kings, her issues being worked on in rehab are “not severe.”
“I speak with her frequently, so I knew [many of the rumors out there] were lies,” Travis Clark told J-14. “It’s tough for any one of us to be in the public eye at all times. If I go missing for a day, people are like, ‘He’s entered rehab and he’s gone completely off the deep end.’ It’s a classic, ‘Don’t believe everything you hear’ story. Unfortunately there are a lot of rumors and a lot of lies out there.”
“But in a positive way, it helps bring everybody together,” he added. “People are there supporting her whether it’s real or not — they want her to know that they’re there for her whenever she needs it. It’s just about how loyal fans are.”
And Demi has definitely had plenty of fans supporting her!
