Demi Moore filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher in November and, just one week later, sat down with longtime friend Amanda De Cadenet for her cover interview for the February 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar.
The newly single actress did not hold back when asked about what scares her the most in life.
Demi revealed, "I would say what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved. That there's something fundamentally wrong with me… that I wasn't wanted here in the first place."
This is not an entirely shocking revelation Demi would make because of everything she is going through with the end of her marriage. Husband Ashton reportedly had an affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal and has since been spotted in Europe with Lorene Scafaria.
Could the fact that Ashton continues to find new ladies to fill his time with so easily contribute to Demi feeling so unlovable?
But the 49-year-old seems ready to move on, telling the magazine that she has a new outlook on life. The actress says, "Letting go of the outcome. Truly being in the moment. Not reflecting on the past. Not projecting into the future. That's freedom. Not caring more about what other people think than what you think. That's freedom."
We hope she too can find that freedom and a new love in her life. Do you think Demi will move on from Ashton?
