Dennis Rodman to Be Honored With the Retiring of His Pistons Jersey

While many think of crazy antics and wild outfits when they hear the name Dennis Rodman, the reality is he also had a long and successful career in the NBA. His accomplishments while playing for the Detroit Pistons are being honored tonight during halftime of their game against the Chicago Bulls, when his jersey No. 10 will be retired.

During his time with the Pistons, he helped the team to win two championships and was named Defensive Player of the Year, reports the Chicago Tribune. He then went on to play with the Chicago Bulls during two of their series that made up a three-peat of championships.

"Dennis has always been a hero of mine," former teammate Joakim Noah said. "I'm very excited for him. It's very well-deserved. Do I think he's a Hall of Famer? Hell yeah, he's a Hall of Famer. People always talk about his antics and all that other stuff. But people forget he was a helluva basketball player."
