We always enjoy a good Diddy cameo. Up next for the hip-hop star is a guest-role on an upcoming episode of Hawaii Five-O!

According to The Associated Press, Diddy is set to star as an NYPD detective named Reggie Williams, who travels to Honolulu to track down the man who committed a crime against his family.
We think Diddy can handle that just fine.
Diddy previously told MTV News that, "I've done a lot of drama mostly my whole career, with Broadway and Monster's Ball and stuff like that — my short little career. But when I did Get Him to the Greek, I really fell in love with making people laugh. I have a knack for improvisation, and hopefully I'll be able to make people laugh more."
So maybe there will be some laughter mixed in!

CBS says several Diddy songs will be featured and the episode is set to air this Spring.
