In a new interview with New York Magazine, Catherine opened up about what it was like working on Twilight and how she has some guilt!

At the time Catherine started filming Twilight, Rob was dating Nikki Reed and Kristen was dating Michael Angarano. However, those relationships didn't last long because Rob and Kristen eventually fell in love. But Catherine can't help but feel a little big bad about that!

“He’s a wonderful actor," Catherine told New York Magazine about Michael. "He was in Dogtown, one of my favorites, so I felt pretty bad because I love him and they were such a great couple."

A great couple? Better than Robsten??

While Catherine may have felt bad those relationships ended, she didn't feel bad rewriting the Twilight script.

“Every one of those scripts sucked,” she said. “Oh, Lord, did they suck.”

“I thought the script was horrible, but then I looked it up on the Internet and I thought, 'Okay, it’s based on a book and people tend to like it. There’s gotta be something there.' "

Well, she was definitely right about that!
