Don Grady, star of the sitcom My Three Sons from 1960 until 1972, has reportedly lost his battle with cancer. He was 68.
The sitcom, on which Don played Robbie Douglas, lasted for 12 years and is the second-longest running sitcom in television history, second only to The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Not only that, but Don was also cast as one of the original Mouseketeers as his employer was none other than The Mickey Mouse Club!
Don also made appearances on other shows like The Lucy Show and Love, American Style, among many others.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, after starring in television, he flexed some musical muscles and wrote the theme song for The Phil Donahue Show. He also contributed to the score of the comedy, Switch, starring Ellen Barkin.
May he rest in peace.
