Drake caused a little controversy when he Tweeted a confusing comment about the death of Nathaniel "Nate Dogg" Hale, but he's now explaining what he meant by his Tweet.

As a result of suffering from health issues the past several years, Nate passed away earlier this week at the age of 41.
Drake, like many other fans, took to Twitter to mourn the loss of Nate.
“It’s easy to love me now. RIP Nate Dogg," he Tweeted.
But many wondered and criticized what Drake meant by that Tweet.

Drake chatted with APTN (via MTV News) to explain his comment.
"It's very sad to hear that we lost him," Drake said of Nate's death. "He contributed some phenomenal music to the world and I think it's just important to remember what he has done."

"I actually Tweeted about it as soon as I heard. One of my favorite lyrics of his was on '21 Questions.' It's when he said, 'It's easy to love me now.' I'm kind of at that point in my life where I am 24 years old and everything has changed," he explained. "It's easy to love me now for a lot of people that did not love me before."
