Early this morning Andrew Gallo, who killed L.A. Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart in a drunk driving accident in 2009, was sentenced to 51 years to life in prison for his actions, according to new reports.
Andrew, 24, formally apologized to the families of the three people that he killed when he ran a red light in his minivan and hit the car Nick was in, sending the vehicle straight into a telephone pole.

The future inmate was charged with three counts of second-degree murder, according to TMZ, after driving with a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit.
Nick was only 22 years old when he was murdered in April of 2009 along with his friends Courtney Stewart and Henry Pearson, also in the vehicle.
