It’s official. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker‘s divorce has been finalized in Texas, legally ending their three-year long marriage.
According to TMZ, Tony lawyer issued legal papers in a Texas courthouse Friday which officially ended his marriage to the Desperate Housewives star.
Eva’s lawyer made sure to dismiss the divorce petition she filed in L.A. County Superior Court. Her docs — filed in November — cited “irreconcilable differences” as a reason for split, but when their separation went public, claims that Tony had been unfaithful ignited in the media.
The finalization of the divorce proceedings were reportedly amicable.
Eva, 35, and Tony, 28, met in 2004 and married in a lavish ceremony at a castle in Europe in 2007.
Tony has been seeking comfort in his family and his love of the game since his split with Eva.
“The most important thing is to stay strong mentally, even if these are very difficult times,” Tony said in a recent interview with France’s Le Parisien newspaper. “I’ve taken refuge in basketball because that’s what I’ve done best since my youth.”
Eva has reportedly moved on, and is dating other people — Penélope Cruz’s much younger brother, Eduardo Cruz in particular.
The “pals” were spotted sneaking around together Christmas Eve morning.
