Bryce previously directed a short film series for Glamour magazine, so she's bringing that experience to a new project with her dad for Project Imagin8ion, a film which will be based on eight independently contributed photos, produced by Freestlye and in collaboration with Canon U.S.A. Consumers can visit www.youtube.com/imagination to submit photos through today and to vote on the semi-finalists through June 23.

Ron spoke to OK! about his talented daughter, and had nothing but wonderful things to say about her as a filmmaker, who will be next appearing in The Help and 50/50.

"When I told her about Project Imagin8ion and the exercise of taking of photos, piecing content, and building a story for a short film she was so excited by the challenge, so it turned out to be a great experience for us to have a fun collaboration which is really an original undertaking," Ron tells OK!.

The photos might not directly appear in the film, explains Ron, but they will play a major part in the movie.

"We are taking our inspiration from the photos, but we don’t feel compelled to literally emulate the picture, we come very close to doing that, but we take the essence of the photograph and build a story out of that," he says.

And if your photo is picked by Ron and Bryce, you can be sure to recognize its impact on the final film.

"One of the things we aim to do is not just toss things in from the side to cover the case of the content but try to use the photographs to inspire an identifiable moment so that when I am with the contest winners I can say that we were really inspired by your photographs they will be able to see and recognize that link," Ron says.

With the film pedigree Bryce has, one could imagine she could just rely on that background. But proud dad Ron says she goes above and beyond to hone her craft.

"She is a great student she is constantly attending workshops and studying films and talking about it," he says, adding "And of course she has been mentored by some remarkable film makers so she is so interested in the process that she has had, a parallel learning dialogue. She has developed her own aesthetic I am looking forward to the collaboration."

Today is the last call to submit your photos on www.youtube.com/imagination and vote on the entries through June 23!
