The music network is returning to its roots on July 4 and will be playing music all day long, from 6am to 6pm. There will be themed hours, special performances, and lots of brand-new artists to check out. MTV's sister networks CMT and VH1 will also be playing music all day long. You can even catch a live broadcast of Philadelphia's annual Independence Day concert on VH1 starting at 8pm, featuring Demi Lovato, John Mayer, The Roots, and more.
