After many delays, it looks like The Lone Ranger is on track to make to the big screen...next May! To keep fans interested, producer Jerry Bruckheimer released the first photo of Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in character from the film.

Armie stars as John Reid (aka The Lone Ranger). and Johnny is taking on the role of his loyal companion, Tonto (which reminds us a lot of his Captain Jack Sparrow character).
Jerry Tweeted the photo today, writing, "Tonto and The Lone Ranger Ride Again!"
But they won't be riding for awhile as the film isn't set to hit theaters until May 31, 2013.
