'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' Star Rooney Mara Admits She Hasn't Seen the Film

She may have been nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but in reality, Rooney Mara hasn't even seen the long-awaited film! 

In an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, Rooney confessed that she hasn't seen the movie in its entirety yet due to her promotional schedule.

"I haven't seen it," Rooney told Jimmy Fallon of the highly anticipated film. "We had three premieres, in three countries, in three days, so we didn't even actually stay for the movie for two of those premieres, we just got on the plane from the red carpet." 

"It's fantastic," Jimmy quipped, as Rooney said, "You've seen it? Even you saw it!" 

The actress has received a lot of praise for her performance, especially for taking it to another level and actually getting her nipple pierced for the role.

"I didn't even recognize you in the movie," Jimmy told Rooney, who responded, "It's not that different, is it?

"You have no eyebrows!" Jimmy joked, "Yeah, it's totally different!"
