The cast Glee may have a hit show and subsequent soundtrack, but they’re not joyful in being stiffed out of profits from their albums.

Glee‘s latest album, Glee: The Music — Journey to Regionals, has hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in June, but the cast says they’re not seeing any profits from it in their paychecks.

According to The New York Post, the cast is uphappy about a deal Ryan Murphy, Glee’s executive producer, made with Sony CEO Ralph Schmidt-Holtz.

Cory Monteith, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz commented on the lack of royalties on Thursday when the stopped by DC’s Hot 99.5 FM and said they haven’t seen a “dime.”

“I got 400 bucks from it going No. 1,” Cory said sarcastically. “But you know what, that’s OK, because if I’m patient, and if this thing does really well, maybe I’ll see another 400 bucks.”

And Mark agreed saying he hasn’t seen “not a dime” in royalties.

“Sony Columbia is so happy because they have a great platform with which to promote all this,” Cory said of Sony’s deal.

But it sounds like Cory and rest of Gleeks would like to see more money!
