It's been nine years since HBO aired the one and only season of Lisa Kudrow's The Comeback but much like characters in a soap opera, nothing is ever really dead in Hollywood and, surprise, it's back!

But Lisa isn't the only star returning for the series. If you remember, Malin Akerman and a mostly unknown Kellan Lutz are both reprising their roles for The Comeback.

"We got to tell a story and we got to bring back all of the characters that we thought were essential, and over the nine years, odd things have happened," says creator and Executive Producer Michael Patrick King. "Like Malin, who was unknown, and Kellan, who was unknown, became bigger stars and did movies, and so we're bringing them back in sort of a meta-version of themselves as bigger stars, those characters are bigger stars."

Season two will also bring back Valerie Cherish's nemesis—Paulie G., played by Lance Barber.
"That felt like unfinished business to me from the first season," says Lisa. "That's a big part of this."
The Comeback returns to HBO in November.
