Gwyneth Paltrow may be a natural when it comes to singing on the big screen, but live on stage in front of an audience of country music chart-toppers is another story. It was announced earlier this week that the 38-year-old was to make her country-music singing debut live at CMA Awards on Nov. 10 — and Gwyn admits she’s nervous!

When asked during a radio interview if she was nervous, Gwyn responded (via Just Jared), “Ah, yes. I can’t use the language that I wanna use on the radio, but yes.”

“If I don’t faint, if I get through it, it’ll be okay,” the singer/actress/doting mom of two added. “Most people start in a bar, then a bigger bar, then a theater. You’re not supposed to just start at the CMAs.”

Other performers at the CMAs include: Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.

Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow will sing a duet to honor Loretta Lynn’s 50th anniversary as a recording artist and Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson will also be performing together.

The soundtrack release for Gwyneth’s Country Strong will hit stores Oct. 26. The film hits theaters nationwide on Jan. 7.
