Anne Hathaway may be the luckiest actress in the biz. The star poses alongside Oscar co-host James Franco, Love and Other Drugs co-star Jake Gyllenhaal and the always hunky Ryan Reynolds — talk about the trifecta of young, hot Hollywood heartthrobs. For Vanity Fair's 17th annual Hollywood Issue cover, they decided to go "back to basics", leaving the teen covers behind, and featuring the most talk-about, exciting actors of the moment.

While Anne, James, Jake and Ryan cover the front panel of the magazine, the two inside panels feature 11 more of the biggest growing stars, including Oscar's best-actor/actress nominees Jesse Eisenberg and Jennifer Lawrence to Noomi Rapace — the actress in the original Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (now Rooney Mara will take on the tough role).

Also featured on the extendable cover are Anthony Mackie, Olivia Wilde, Mila Kunis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Rashida Jones, Garrett Hedlund, and Robert Duvall.

Looks like Robert, who stands behind the bar, serves as the veteran actor who transcends generations, as well as the bartender!

Renowned photographer Norman Jean Roy shot the cover in L.A. and New York in two days.

Do you think anyone is missing from this cover? Emma Stone first popped into our minds. And of course we miss Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but they have already received Vanity Fair loving!

And how about Natalie Portman? Did she turn down the opportunity, or did pregnancy get in the way?
