Oscar winner Hilary Swank threw a hillbilly style holiday party at the Piano Bar in Hollywood that was the antithesis of the typical glam holiday party — her bash included redneck punch and rice-krispie treats!
The New York Post reported Hilary threw the party with producer Molly Smith, actor Billy Myer and publicist Stephanie Shaw who dressed in "flannel, trucker hats and bad teeth," according to a source.
In fact, the invite read, "It's a Redneck Christmas, Y'all!" It also hinted at "beers and boot scootin' fun." During the fete, Hilary sang the Beatles' tune "Birthday" and also posed for pictures with partygoers.
Stephanie told the newspaper, "We wanted it to be the opposite of the Hollywood formal holiday party. We had Rice Krispies [treats], Natty Lights and redneck punch. We had tons of beer in buckets on the tables and hot dogs." Additional munchies included Nilla Wafers and M&Ms.
She added, "Hilary got into the spirit of it, she had so much fun. We were all going to wear tanks that said 'Ho ho ho' — but they didn't arrive in time, so Hilary was in a cute cowgirl outfit." Sounds cute to us!
