No pairing is perfect — and that is certainly true of the often troubled roller-coaster relationship between reality stars Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.
With a new baby, both partners’ patience is wearing pretty thin, the fights are growing more frequent and nasty, and when there is a moment of joy between them, it can quickly erode into yet another shouting match or huffy walk-away.
As the pair faces the hardest crisis of their four-year relationship, close pals say both reality stars are acutely aware they have but two choices: Make up, or break up.
“Kourtney has hinted that walking away was an option,” one pal says. “But she doesn’t want that even though things are rough between them, to say the least."
Just two months after the birth of their second baby, Penelope, and mere weeks before the two begin filming the upcoming Kanye West-studded season of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the couple knows their union is on the brink and have made a firm decision to seek couples counseling and fight to save their once-passionate love, another close friend says.
"Therapy was actually Scott’s idea, which to be honest, was kind of shocking. It shows that he’s committed despite his recent gaffes.”
While pals say Kourtney, 33, is encouraged by Scott, 29, wanting to see a therapist, insiders wonder if their fledgling family can survive Scott's major missteps, like his recent booze-filled bacchanalia with the Pussycat Dolls in San Diego.
