Jennifer Lawrence is rolling in the deep — deep pockets that is. The Hunger Games star is getting a major payraise according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 21-year-old could find herself $10 million dollars richer if the deal goes down her way. She was paid just $500,00 for the first film, which grossed $683.8 million worldwide.
A source close to the situation told THR that Jennifer is in the final stages of negotiating her contract for Catching Fire, the follow up to the first movie.
The actress' original deal with Lionsgates, the studio behind the box office hit, had her reportedly signed for four films, which are based on Suzanne Collins best-selling books, but with the success of Hunger Games, producers decided to renegotiate the terms of her contract, which is common with major film franchises.
The anticipated sequel is scheduled to start shooting in September and the release date for the film is November, 22, 2013.
