Not thrilled by the thought of pouring yourself a glass of veggies? Personally, I love juicing! So when Tia Mowry-Hardict told us she was a fan of Pressed Juicery green juices and had it every morning instead of a cup of coffee, I figured I needed to give it a shot. If someone can cut out coffee from their diet, my brain is wandering as to how.
I tried out the Pressed Juicery Greens 6 drink and can honestly say it was way different than any other juice blend I’ve ever tasted. I couldn’t get over how you could actually taste a hint of every ingredient in the bottle. It was also nice to know that the company values a simplistic and natural ingredient list. My drink was made of spinach, honeydew, kiwi, lemongrass, cilantro—and boy, did I taste the kick of the cilantro.
When I’ve attempted to make my own green juices in the past, I probably have never actually put in enough greens. The ratio of cups of strawberry Greek yogurt to spinach leaves was probably 12:1. This was way different. Because it was so earthy and fresh, I felt like I picked it up at a farm stand.
It’ll definitely be a good way to add more veggies into my diet for hot summer months. I definitely understand why Tia feels good drinking it!
