It's all perfectly legal, but New York Jets star Mark Sanchez caused a stir last week when reports surfaced of a dalliance with a 17-year-old high school senior.

According to sports website Deadspin, teenager Eliza Kruger said she met Mark, 24, at an NYC nightclub on New Year's Eve. They flirted, and she told him, "You know I'm 17, right?" He replied: "Well, we can still talk, but I can't see you until you're 18." She countered with: "Actually, 17 is legal in New York."

Eliza said they exchanged phone numbers and Mark provided her and her friends with tickets to the Jets' regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills. A few days later, he took her to dinner at Nobu, and they would up at his New Jersey home.
Mark has so far suffered no repercussion from the team.
