Despite rumors that Jermaine Jackson's son tried to tase his young cousin Blanket, the family's matriarch, Katherine, has released a statement to say that the weapon has been confiscated and the children are "happy, healthy and wonderful."

According to the statement, issued by Katherine Jackson's lawyer Adam Streisand to TMZ, Jermaine's 13-year-old son Jaafar ordered a stun gun online and it was delivered to the Jackson's Encino home two weeks ago.

Streisand says Jaafar opened the package alone in his bathroom and "tested it on a piece of paper," in the incident which triggered an investigation by the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services.

According to the statement, Katherine and security heard the sound coming from the second floor and confiscated the weapon.

Katherine then removed the "taser" from the house, although TMZ claims that a stun gun, not a taser, was at the house when the DCFS confiscated it.

Streisand says neither Blanket nor Paris saw or heard the "taser."

"All of the kids are happy, healthy and wonderful and that is Mrs. Jackson's only objective and concern," says Streisand.
