Jennifer Aniston is an Investor and Spokesperson For Living Proof Hair Care Company

Jennifer Aniston is expanding her resume from actress to hair product investor.

In a move that should have happened decades ago, the former Friends actress and inspiration behind the iconic 90s "Rachel" haircut, has invested her time and money into a new MIT-developed hair care line called Living Proof.

Jennifer will not only shoot a slew of advertisements, she'll also have input in the business strategy and hold an equity stake in the company.

Living Proof aims to shill its products based on top-notch scientific data from chemical engineers at the Boston area university along with a silky-haired celebrity spokesperson who can hopefully garner the brand some attention. Jennifer has reportedly already used some of the frizz control products and has gushed at how "smooth" they made her tresses.

“I have been approached many, many times,” she said in an interview at Living Proof’s Cambridge, Mass., headquarters. "You want to be part of something that’s exciting and authentic. You can’t get more interesting than these scientists.”

Living Proof will begin shooting Jennifer for its ad campaign in November.
