Since their first reported appearance as a couple at a May 18 dinner party in Los Angeles, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been joined at the hip as their relationship quickly moved forward.

However, there's always been one dark shadow looming over their ultimate happiness: the perception that Jen stole Justin from his longtime girlfriend, stylish Heidi Bivens, after they became lovers while filming their movie Wanderlust together last fall.
But in a shocking turn of events, Jen moved to vanquish that last ghost by reaching out to Heidi and meeting her for an emotional heart-to-heart talk in NYC — to assure her she and Justin didn't cheat behind her back.
Jen, 42, took action after she heard Justin trying to comfort his crying ex on the phone according to a report, and with Justin's blessing, her meeting with Heidi, 35, was set up in a suite at The Mercer hotel in Manhattan.

"Jen and JUstin have always been adamant that nothing happened between them until he had broken it off with Heidi," a source tells Star. "But Heidi's only human, and those rumors have constantly weighed heavily on her." Tear were reportedly shed as Jen and Heidi opened up to each other, and afterward, the source adds, "It was like Jen had killed two birds with one stone. She tried to put Heidi's mind at ease, and in doing so, she did the same for herself.
