Jennifer Lopez shows off an androgynous side in V Magazine's sports issue, in which she poses  as a rough-and-tough — and half-naked — boxer. (Anyone else reminded of her movie Enough?)

The singer, actress, dancer and American Idol judge opens up about her ex Marc Anthony and how she will always consider herself “Jenny From the Block.”

“It did make me feel tougher,” J.Lo tells V Magazine of the cross-gender shoot, photographed by Mario Testino. “I know how to fight!” she adds. “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going.”

The same can be said for her personal life, which has been under a lot of scrutiny since she and Marc filed for divorce last summer. But the parents to twins Max and Emme are moving on with their lives and looking forward to their futures, which will obviously always involve each other.

“I mean, we’re parents and friends first,” she says of Marc. “That will be the thread that ties us together. I don’t know if people expect it to be negative just because the intimate relationship didn’t work out.”

But despite it all, Jennifer is loving where she’s at professionally and personally — she’s dating 24-year-old dancer Casper Smart — and she’s ready to keep on fighting.

“I’ve always felt like a tough girl from the Bronx,” Jennifer insists. “But I have a soft core.”
