A Jenny McCarthy interview is always chock-full of punch lines, and when she's interviewed by Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford on the Today show, you're all but assured to have a raucous few minutes.
This morning, Jenny sat down to talk about all the big changes in her life. She has a new show, Love In The Wild, on NBC, another Playboy cover in the works, another book, Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic, and a new love, Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher.
She describes Love In The Wild as "Survivor meets The Bachelor with a little bit of Fear Factor," and seems convinced contestants may actually find love.
"Last year, the first and second place couples are still together," she said. Comparing the show to The Bachelor, she added, "We're not throwing them in a mansion to look beautiful and fake for six weeks. They are dealing with, and I'm telling you, hell."
For those who may think a Playboy cover at age 40 is overkill, she tells Hoda and Kathie Lee she wanted to do it "one more time before everything falls apart," and to be "a legend" she must work… a lot.
"A legend is great because it's consistent," she said. "I'm grateful. In my line of work, so to speak, I'm glad that hosting has really become a top job in Hollywood."
And finally, when Hoda and Kathie Lee asked the bombshell if she thought she'd ever find true love, Jenny smiled and said, "I think I might be there — almost."
