You like them! You really really like them! Jersey Shore kicked off its third season with MTV's highest rated series telecast ever.

Gym, tan and laundry weren't getting done last night as every Jersey Shore fan was too busy watching their TV!
According to Nielsen (via The Hollywood Reporter), MTV pulled in 8.4 million viewers Thursday night.
The number of young viewers (12-34) who tuned in was more than any broadcast or cable show this season.

And season three far surpassed season two's premiere, which pulled in 5.1 million viewers.
According to THR, the fourth season the Jersey Shore is expected to head back to Miami, but MTV is still negotiating with the cast before filming starts.
