Jessie James and Eric Decker are expecting their first child in 2014 and the couple is, as they like to say in Hollywood, over the moon at the idea of becoming parents. Jessie chats with OK! about what is surprising her about pregnancy, how Eric feels about being a dad and the way this impending little bundle is even affecting her music.
OK!: What has surprised you so far about pregnancy?
Jessie James: My boobs have gotten so ginormous it’s uncomfortable. You know how all girls want big boobs? I already kind of had big boobs to start with so they have, I don’t know if this is too graphic, but they have gotten so massive. They are up to my chin. I’m wearing the thinnest bras possible. It’s just so uncomfortable. There are stretch marks everywhere. They hurt. My heart goes out to anyone who has massive boobs.
OK!: On your E! show Eric & Jessie: Game On we heard Eric talk about wanting to become a dad, he must be ecstacic.
JJ: He is so excited. It’s just really cute. He’s just so amazing. I don’t know how other men are but compared to all the guys I’ve ever dated or spent time with, he’s so incredible. What man gets teary-eyed when he talks about having a baby? It’s so sweet. He’s such a great guy. It’s been really great to see how excited he is.
OK!: Do you feel like pregnancy has influenced your songwriting?
JJ: Yeah, it’s so interesting because all of a sudden when you become a mommy, and I guess I’m considered a mom now, you want to be able to not offend your child, I guess. I want to watch what I write about. I’m always going to be kind of crazy and out there but I want to be a good example. It’s so interesting how much it hcanges. Something I would have written about or talked about when I was 19 is completely different now that I’m 25 and having a child. You want to be yourself but you still want to be a good example.
