In a move that should have happened eons ago, super-chiseled Joe Manganiello covers the July issue of Men's Health UK.
The True Blood and Magic Mike actor took a series of muscle man photos for the magazine and said Hollywood turned him down for years for being too masculine.
"I got to L.A. in 2000, when we were coming off the '90s: women looked like men and the men all looked like women," he said. "I was constantly being told, 'You're too healthy', so there were four years where I essentially didn't work."
Too healthy? Interesting choice of words. Well, healthy, works just fine for his role as Big Dick Richie in this month's Magic Mike. Of the shooting, Joe tells the magazine that the hired female extras got their fair share of attention from the hunky cast.
"There are guys who are going to divorce their wives after they see what [these women] did as extras in this movie,” he said. “We were… manhandling groups of 200 female extras every day.”
While we're at it, check out a brand new trailer from the flick below. After so much hype, we better not be disappointed!
