John Mayer is a busy guy -- what with working hard on a new album and releasing his latest single, "Who Says," last week -- but that doesn't mean the musician's schedule is too full when it comes to giving back to America's veterans. The rocker visited vets and their family over the weekend at Presidio in San Francisco in his efforts to heighten awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

"I will do everything I can in my power to change and reframe the attitude of what it means to be a returning vet," he told the local ABC news outlet.

John also Tweeted about the event beforehand, urging fans to "check out the amazing work done by the Veterans Health Research Institute" and posted a pic from his trip featuring "four of San Fran's finest" as well.

While the ABC article also states John will be giving a portion of his upcoming tour proceeds to benefit PTSD research, his rep confirms to OK! that while that tour isn't set yet, John will be donating a portion of his proceeds from two special West Coast John Mayer Trio performances to finding out more about PTSD.
