Jon Gosselin Gets Fresh Ink to Represent Rebirth

Jon Gosselin wants to start over and one symbol of his renewal is a brand new dragon tattoo spanning the majority of the reality star dad's back.

"I have planned this tattoo for years now,” Jon told Radar Online. “I wanted something that resembled a rebirth or a change in me.”

Kate Gosselin's 33-year-old ex-husband told Radar he has been doing some soul searching and the tattoo is representative of changes in his life — he picked a Korean dragon because it’s a symbol of rebirth and the circle of life.

“The dragon is all encompassing. It has all parts of the zodiac,” Jon told Radar. “This was the perfect timing for me."

So how did the Gosselin brood react to the large tat — which took over 14 hours to create — on daddy's back?

"They love it and think it’s cool!' the proud dad said.

Another part of Jon's renewal was hiring his new manager, Canaan Rubin who told Radar Online, “This tattoo for Jon marks this turning point in his life, and symbolizes his time of change, and improvement.”

“He has been actively exploring ways to better his life, become a better father, boyfriend, ex-husband, friend, business partner, everything," Rubin continues.
