Yesterday a Superior Court Judge named Britney Spears' fiancé, Jason Trawick, her co-conservator.
What exactly does this mean? According to the Associated Press, Jason and Britney's father, Jamie Spears, will have the ability to make decisions about her personal life, but Trawick, who is also Britney's manager, won't be dealing with her financial assets. Jamie and a lawyer are in charge of the singer's money.
A few months ago, after they got engaged, Britney requested that her man be granted court conservatorship. Since 2008, the Grammy winner was under a court-ordered conservatorship and her father took control of her personal matters. Keep in mind this was after she was hospitalized not once but twice and was in the news a lot for bizarre behavior.
Jamie's lawyer indicated after the hearing that he was thrilled Jason is getting involved. Jason attended the hearing (Britney did not), but didn't comment after it ended.
