Justin Bieber's devotion to his fans explains why they love him so much, and why the phenomenon known as Bieber Fever has swept the country. The pop sensation was disappointed that he couldn't make it to Sunday night's BET Awards — where he was nominated for for Best New Artist — however, he remained devoted to his tour and delivering his fans a energetic performance!

"Rolled into Milwaukee for the show today...gonna be huge...22,000 people sold out. I heard. Missing everybody out in LA for the BET Awards," Justin Tweeted on Sunday. "Just wanted to say I would have been at the awards, but this show was booked before the nominees came out, and I don't cancel shows.

"I would never cancel a show and let down the fans unless I had to ... but I do wish I was there too, because I am honored to just be nominated," he continued.

Unfortunately, Justin lost the Best New Artist prize to Queens MC Nicki Minaj; however, the young singer was honored just to be nominated.

Justin was sure to Tweet a message to his friends who were at the Shrine Auditorium. "Everyone out there best of luck... Shout-out to my big bro @usherraymondiv performing 2nite!"

And as he wrapped up his sold out show, he Tweeted, "As soon as we got offstage we had an EPIC WATER FIGHT!!!"

"Last night we were caught off guard but 2nite we came prepared."
