Since starring in Catch That Kid opposite Kristen Stewart, Max Thieriot has been working to make his mark in Hollywood and says K-Stew gives him advice.
In the new issue of Da Man magazine (via Just Jared), Max opens up on what’s he’s learned from working with stars like Liam Neeson and Kristen.
Max got his start as a Gap model before becoming the now 21-year-old My Soul to Take actor that he is.
“It wasn’t really a decision, it just sort of happened,” Max says about acting in the new Da Man issue. “I just got lucky and fell into modeling and acting.”
And he met K-Stew right away!
“She was one of the first people I met going into acting, so we have stayed good friends over the years…. to be honest, I don’t really watch the Twilight stuff,” he admits. “However, I am always a fan of her work. I think she is an extremely talented actress. Plus, we are pretty close, so I always support her.”
Throughout his career, he’s been surrounded by many talented co-stars.
“Liam [Neeson] and Billy [Bob Thornton] have really taught me a lot and were extremely helpful with decisions in scenes, ” Max explains. “They also took time to talk to me many times one-on-one if I asked for help, advice, etc.”
“Kristen Stewart has been a huge help to me, also,” he adds. “She has always given me advice.”
