OK! NEWS: KATE GOSSELIN EXPLAINS WHY SHE CHOOSES TO STAY IN THE SPOTLIGHT

"There were no cons," the mother of eight told Ryan, who commented on how "hot" she looked in person. "I figured I’d whip my butt into shape and I need it. And the pros were, I still don’t know how to dance. I was hoping I’d learn how to dance and it’s worked to me and I need to do it and it’s all good. Dancing with the Stars is awesome. It was an honor.

Despite the Hollywood spotlight Kate has on her, she said she would trade the fame and the money in a "micro-millisecond."

"I love my kids and I want to be there for them and I am the kind of mom who wants to be at home with my kids. You have to be at work because you have to provide for your kids, but really my heart is at home with them."

So is there bad blood between the reality mom and the Baywatch babe?

"No, we sit in the hair and makeup chair next to each other and talk about our kids," Kate explained. "She’s awesome. She’s a mom."

Ryan took the opportunity to joke with Kate, asking if she wished Pam was uglier.

"Lets face it, her legs kill me," Kate admitted. "I want her legs, but I have gotten to know the Pam that is just a mom and drops her kids off at school. She’s given me advice about what it’s like to be a single mom and she’s years ahead of me. So we talk about that and I don’t wish she was anything but what she is. I think she’s gorgeous and we all wish we could be like her.

"I wish I could be her."

So where is Jon Gosselin?

"He says he supports me but I don’t really believe that," she said.

When asked if she thinks Jon votes for her every week she responded: "I don’t know"

As far as the custody battle, Kate is just praying for peace.

"I have them right now and I want peace in the end of this," she said. "I want the kids to see him. I want the kids to be with me. I want it to be peaceful. That’s my goal."

Kate feels John abused fame at times.

"I think that he definitely made some decisions that I wouldn’t have made that hurt us," she said.

Despite the struggles between her and Jon, Kate misses the whole family unit being together.

"I miss happiness and a whole family," she revealed. "I can tell my kids miss a whole family."

Kate also wanted to dismiss rumors that she had any feuds with fellow DWTS castmates.

"There’s no feud between me and anyone because I cry when anyone’s voted off. I was sobbing when Aidan Turner and Edyta Sliwinska got voted off and Tony was like “why are you crying?” and I said 'because I don’t want anybody to go home.' "
