Katie Couric is back on the market. After dating her 17-years-younger boyfriend Brooks Perlin for five years, Katie has reportedly called it quits.
Katie met Brooks, a CFO at Eco Supply Center, in 2006 at a cancer research charity event.
According to The New York Post, the couple's relationship has been rocky for months and Brooks is now moving out of Katie's NYC apartment.
"The have decided to move on," a friend, speaking on Katie's behalf, confirmed to The Post. "Brooks is a great person and a real gentleman; he and Katie enjoyed their time together. But after five years they have decided it was time to go their separate ways. Brooks is in the process of moving out of her home."
Katie, 54, lost her husband Jay Monahan to colon cancer in 1998 and has two children.

Luckily, Katie has a lot on her plate right now to keep her busy.
She has her new talk show to focus on and "The Year with Katie Couric" ABC special coming up on Thursday.
