NEWSKatie Holmes Has "No Plans On Dating Anytime Soon" After Tom Cruise Divorce

Katie Holmes is a single mom in New York City with the world at her feet after divorcing Tom Cruise.
But the newly independent woman is loving her freedom so much that she does not want to jump back into a relationship for the foreseeable future.
"Katie is just flourishing in her new life," an insider told RadarOnline.
"Yes, there have been some dark moments but she was more than ready to embark on the next phase of her life post-Tom Cruise.
"Katie felt that her professional career suffered because she was married to Tom and that she didn't have the final say in her acting roles. Katie is currently busy preparing for her role in Dead Accounts.
"Katie believes in love and hopes to get remarried one day but has absolutely no plans on dating anytime soon.

"Katie is devoted to being the best parent possible to Suri Cruise and continuing a smooth transition into their new lives together.
"Katie knows bringing a new man into the situation would only cause more stress for Suri right now and the actress is still recovering from the end of her marriage to Tom."
Documents leaked back in August showed that Tom and Katie's marriage had "broken down irretrievably" about six months prior to the Dawson Creek star's bombshell divorce filing.

Although the former couple had a lavish ceremony in Italy on November 18 2006, they had actually officially tied the knot in a "civil ceremony" in LA a week prior. Katie signed her prenup months before they said "I do."
Tom is said to be talking to Suri by Skype and telephone every day while he works on a movie in London and is "hoping to see Suri around Halloween."
