Katy Perry Launches Perfume and Dishes About Weight

As talk of Christina Aguilera's Super Bowl snafu dies down, all eyes are now on Katy Perry. And by that we mean noses. The "California Girls" crooner has been promoting her new perfume, Purr Katy Perry, and talking about her weight, career and happy marriage.

Katy graces the cover of Elle's March issue and according to The Huffington Post, she opens up about her weight. "I was shaped like a square at one time. I was! I'm generally around 130 pounds, which is totally fine for me. But when I was a kid, I was the same height and weighed more like 145."

And as for her awesome career?"I feel like I'm at a point in my life right now where I could potentially stick around. I don't feel like a diva, but I think diva is a great and powerful word in the sense of what Beyonce makes it." She adds, "And maybe I can't be Beyonce, but maybe I can be Cyndi Lauper. I mean be like her, not be her. That would just be weird."

In addition to making a splash in the magazine's pages, Katy dazzled on TV last night as a guest on How I Met Your Mother. She joins the ranks of other pop stars who have also made a cameo on the hit show such as Britney Spears and Carrie Underwood.
