"It will take several months, and while I'm not looking forward to the pain, I've heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo. I hope so! When I was younger I really do think that tattoos were my way of self-harming because I really knew it would upset my mum and dad," the young reality TV star continued.

"I was miserable, and I just went and got all these tattoos and I don't know why. One of them is a keyboard and I don't even know how to play a piano!"

Kelly has her tats covered with makeup on the set of her new film, Should've Been Romeo, and welcomed the look of her clean skin!

"I can't say I've missed them," she said.

Wonder if Kelly's new fashion mentor, Joan Rivers — who she works with on E!'s Fashion Police — has anything to do with her choice to get her ink removed?
