Kim Kardashian joined forces with actress Maria Bello and her organization We Advance to journey to Haiti and support the strong women who have fought to improve their lives and the lives of others in their impoverished communities.

Kim and Maria, along with others like Kris Jenner, Patricia Arquette and Donna Karan, traveled to Haiti last week to visit some of the small grassroots organizations that We Advance — founded by Maria after the earthquake in January 2010 — supports and celebrate the achievements of some inspiring women at the trade fair and fashion show.

The women also visited the Artists for Peace and Justice school, helped to replenish supplies at local health clinics and gifted 500 orphans at the Sow a Seed Christmas party. They even had the opportunity to meet with the President of Haiti, Michel Martelly.

Kim called the trip "life-changing" and adds on her blog that she had an "incredible experience" with all the amazing women who went on the journey with her.
