Looks like Kris Humphries is in denial over Kim Kardashian's decision to divorce him after only 72 days of marriage.

The NBA star seems to be completely blindsided by the situation.
"I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce," Kris tells OK! in a statement. "I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."
After reports ran wild, Kim confirmed her decision to divorce Kris — whom she married in a lavish ceremony on Aug. 20 — this afternoon.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," she says in a statement to OK!. "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision."

Despite the reports that Kim and Kris fought all the time, Kim makes it sound like the two will stay friendly.
"I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned," Kim added. "We remain friends and wish each other the best."
But their on-screen romance isn't over yet. The two will be featured in E!'s upcoming second season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
