Kristen Bell Talks About Her Newborn Daughter Lincoln and Dax Shepard as a Dad

Kristen Bell talks about becoming a mother to Lincoln, her 2-month-old daughter with Dax Shepard, on the June 3 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"It’s actually better than I expected," she says. "It’s pretty wonderful, yeah. It’s a lot of fun."

When Ellen DeGeneres asks how Dax, 38, is as a dad, Kristen has only good things to say. "Like, the best," the 32-year-old actress gushes. "It’s like he’s just made a new best friend. He just talks to her all the time. And sings to her all day. And, it’s wonderful."

So wonderful that they've decided not to share pictures of their baby girl with anyone—including Ellen. "We're not quite positive that she wants to be a public figure yet so we’re going to leave that up to her," jokes Kristen. "If she wants to she can do a bunch of selfies. Who cares? But we’re just going to make that decision for her."

So without a picture, Ellen asks Kristen why she chose the name Lincoln (it's always been Dax's favorite) while drawing her own rendition of what the baby might look like.
