La Toya Jackson: I'm Ready To Find Love And Become A Mom

La Toya Jackson says she's "working on it" where it comes to becoming a mom at 56.

The singer/filmmaker is now sharing all aspects of her life in her new reality show, Life With La Toya where she opens up about love, relationship and starting a family.

OKMagazine.com sat down with LaToya recently where she revealed that she had never been in love and discussed with us how bad the abuse in her marriage to ex-husband Jack Gordon got during their ill-fated union.

But looking forward, La Toya says that she is ready to find love and opened up about the kind of man she's looking for.

"I am simple when it comes to that. I just want someone with a good, kind heart," she said. "Someone who loves their mother. That’s important to me. That’s very important. I’m not looking for much at all and it’s really—I can only say that it’s that simple."

"Because after you've been through what I've been through… I don’t know. I just know that if he loves his mother, he won’t be that abusive. Because he doesn’t have this hatred for women."

And despite being 56, La Toya says she seriously considering becoming a mom and is open to adopting a child.

"In the show, we’ll take you through the process. I’m working on it. I’m working on it to see if this is what I want," La Toya added.
