Lady Gaga Pays Tribute to Amy Winehouse and Princess Diana in Concert

Across the pond this past weekend, Lady Gaga performed on her Born This Way tour, but it wasn't just any ol' concert.

According to RadarOnline, the "Poker Face" singer dedicated a new song, "Princess Die," to Princess Diana and Amy Winehouse. In fact, before she performed, the natirve New Yorker told the audience she anticipated a "controversy" by playing a tribute song to the late princess in London.

Gaga explained, “Since I was a very young girl, the People’s Princess was the most important person in me and my mother’s life. I swore if I ever had an audience like this in London, I would take a moment to appreciate her.”

During the concert, which included about 15 costume changes, she also gave a shout-out to John Lennon and declared the late Beatles star the "greatest songwriter ever." Then she performed a rendition of "Imagine."

It sounds like she had a blast with the tributes and concert. Mother Monster Tweeted: "Twickenham, im not even sure what to say. I’ll never forget tonight. London you were the fairest of the ball. now THAT was f**king fun."
