Lance Armstrong's Retiring to Focus on His Five Children & Fighting Cancer

Lance Armstrong has announced he's retiring again and says he wants to focus on his children and the fight against cancer.

The seven-time Tour de France champion said in a statement via CNN that his "focus now is raising (his) five children, promoting the mission of LIVESTRONG (Global Cancer Campaign), and growing entrepreneurial ventures with our great corporate partners in the fight against cancer."

In 2005, Lance first announced his retirement, but then tried to come back.

Since the 39-year-old was diagnosed with testicular cancer in the 1990s, he has become a high-profile fundraiser for cancer research. Lance has three children with his ex-wife Kristin Richard and two with his current girlfriend Anna Hansen.
