The leaked Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz song "Another Day" that has been posted online won't be up for much longer! Listen while you still can!
Sony BMG Music Entertainment and lawyers for Michael's estate have issued cease-and-desists trying to take down the new clips of a duet between Michael and Lenny, E! News reports.
The song first appeared less than 24 hours ago on MJ Star, a fan site, along with an animated video, but it has since been removed although the site had promised a "big announcement" and the availability of the full track soon.
"It was unauthorized," a source close to Michael's estate explained. "No one was quite sure how it got out."
Lenny confirmed in a video statement that he collaborated on the song with Michael by writing the tune and playing all the instruments, but denies leaking the unfinished clip. He saidt he recordings had been locked in a vault.
"I'd like to see this thing get straightened out as soon as possible," Lenny says in the statement. "Because I'd like for you, the fans — the people who loved Michael — to be able to hear the track in its entirety, the way it was meant to be, the way Michael and I had intended it to be."
