From afar, LeAnn Rimes' life may seem idyllic, full of beachtime partying and lovey-dovey Instagrams of her and hubby Eddie Cibrian, but a recent lawsuit proves the country singer might have it harder than we thought.

A day after she entered a treatment center to help cope with anxiety, LeAnn is suing two women, Kimberly and Lexi Smiley, for invasion of privacy. In the suit, she claims the two women illegally recorded a conversation this past spring where she said incriminating things about Eddie's ex wife, Brandi Glanville.

The singer agreed to meet with the two women to "work things out" after being relentlessly poked and prodded by them on Twitter. During that meeting, LeAnn claims they recorded the conversation without her permission and proceeded to edit it to appear as though she bashed Brandi the entire time. They then uploaded it to the Internet for everyone to hear.

She claims they've caused "emotional distress" and expects to be compensated accordingly.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com reports that her husband Eddie may have had the most logical solution to his wife's problems.

“Eddie hates Twitter and doesn’t want LeAnn to be on there and writing so much,” a source said. “He would ask her to not meet people through Twitter and wanted her to get off of there. He thought she was out of control and not able to handle what she was doing."

Sounds very wise, indeed. Hopefully when she returns from treatment LeAnn will rethink her social networking habits.
