Liam Hemsworth is ready to blow up. The hot Aussie actor, who plays Gale in the upcoming movie adaptation of The Hunger Games, was honored last night at Cosmopolitan's Fun and Fearless Men and Women Awards in NYC and told reporters, "It’s getting a little bit more and more crazy every day. It’s exciting to be a part of this really special project and I’m hanging out for people to see it."

He also revealed he wasn't expecting co-star Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss) to be as relaxed as she was. "I think I expected her to be a little bit more straight edge than she was," he said. "She was completely unpredictable, in the greatest way possible, and, you know, very energetic and fun to work with."

"Most of my stuff is with Jennifer, and she was an incredible person to work with. Extremely fun and energetic; a ridiculously talented actress."

He also explained how odd it was to not be blonde! "It was very, very weird. I had never dyed my hair for anything before; it took a little getting used to."
